As a data manager, I am in charge of the BI part of the SCP (Sales Compensation Plan) stream.

I also support the management of a new real-time engine project.

• New calculation engine project: Redesign of the calculation system, moving from a batch processing model to a real-time data architecture via a DataLake House (Iceberg), message processing (Kafka), and a calculation engine (Spark). This redesign aims to improve the speed and efficiency of the system and make it scalable.

• Maintenance and optimization: Maintenance and optimization of the compensation engine hosted on BODS, reports on Business Objects (BO), and data quality (Oracle DB), improving the performance and reliability of processes.

• Support and assistance: Providing comprehensive support to business teams during the evolution of the Sales Compensation and My Client Referential applications, ensuring smooth transitions and successful adoption of new features.

• Database management: I administer Oracle databases, overseeing their integrity, performance, and security while ensuring a fluid data flow across systems.

• International collaboration: I collaborate closely with SCP teams in France, the United States, and India, facilitating knowledge sharing and coordinating efforts to achieve common goals.

ETL Development: I designed and developed ETL data flows using Talend and Business Objects Data Services, ensuring efficient and reliable data integration.

• Requirements Gathering: I collected user requirements and drafted detailed functional and technical specifications.

• Project Management: I led project follow-up workshops with the business unit (MOA) and collaborated with the technical team (MOE) to develop ETL flows and BO and Power BI reports.

• Business Objects Platform Configuration: I installed and configured the BO application server, integrated Active Directory and HTTPS, and managed repository migration to ensure a secure and performant environment.

• Report Development: I developed and optimized Business Objects and Power BI reports, conducting in-depth user validation tests to ensure accuracy and usability.

• User Training: I provided detailed training on Business Objects (Reporting, Admin, and IDT) and Power BI, thereby improving user proficiency and adoption.

• Project Leadership: I led BI projects from conception to completion, managing resources and ensuring the timely delivery of quality results.
