About Nazário João Jacinto

Are you looking to make your equipment more reliable, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve the performance of your facilities? I can help.

As a methods engineer, with a degree in Industrial Engineering & Maintenance and Mechatronics, I assist companies in transforming their data and processes into concrete actions.

What I offer:

Optimization of preventive and conditional maintenance plans

Reliability analyses (FMEA, RCM) and risk management

Implementation and configuration of monitoring tools (CMMS, Power BI)

Writing operational procedures

Training and support for teams

My added value: combining technical rigor with a hands-on approach to make your teams more autonomous and your facilities more efficient.

Whether for a reliability diagnosis, the creation of a dashboard, or the implementation of a CMMS, I offer concrete solutions tailored to your challenges.

Objective: reliability, visibility, and sustainable performance, while reducing your costs.

    PUBLIC SECTOR
    October 2024 - Today (1 year and 8 months)
    Annecy, France
As a methods engineer within the Grand Annecy Potable Water Directorate, my main mission is to structure, optimize, and modernize activities related to the maintenance and operation of drinking water production and distribution facilities.

I am leading the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), a strategic tool for centralizing data, planning interventions, and ensuring traceability of operations. This project involves not only the technical configuration of the software but also the adaptation of existing processes and support for teams to ensure successful integration.

Another essential aspect of my role is the standardization of maintenance processes. I design and formalize harmonized procedures and work methods to ensure consistency in practices, improve operational efficiency, and reduce intervention-related costs.

I also develop interactive dashboards for maintenance monitoring and facility performance evaluation. These management tools provide a clear view of site status, anticipate preventive maintenance needs, and supply decision-makers with reliable indicators to guide operational strategy.

Finally, I provide training and support to technicians in using new tools and procedures. I place particular importance on pedagogy and clarity in the documents I write (technical reports, operating procedures, methodological guides) to facilitate adoption by all service stakeholders.

Through these missions, I actively contribute to the modernization and reliability of the public drinking water service in Grand Annecy, placing innovation, methodological rigor, and continuous improvement at the heart of my work.

    March 2024 - September 2024 (6 months)
    Annecy, France
During my 6-month end-of-studies internship at AbbVie Pringy within the Maintenance Methods department, I conducted a maintenance methods engineering mission focused on improving the reliability of production equipment. My main project involved FMEA-RCM (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis – Reliability Centered Maintenance) analysis applied to a cartoning line used in the packaging of medical devices.

The objective was to identify the main failure modes of the PKM L3 cartoning machine, assess their criticality, and propose appropriate maintenance actions to reduce unplanned downtime, improve machine availability, and optimize costs. I performed a detailed functional analysis, studied the breakdown history, defined a suitable criticality matrix, and led collaborative workshops with maintenance technicians.

The study identified over 50 critical failure modes and led to the development of an optimized maintenance plan including systematic, conditional, and predictive maintenance tasks. I also worked on adjusting frequencies, assessing workload, and managing spare parts inventory, identifying new critical references to integrate and anticipating obsolescence risks.

Beyond the technical aspects, this internship allowed me to develop key skills in project management, reliability-based maintenance methodology (RCM), risk analysis, and industrial process optimization. I also strengthened my interpersonal skills by collaborating closely with technicians, engineers, and site managers.

This experience was a concrete opportunity to apply my engineering knowledge while contributing to the industrial performance of a major player in the pharmaceutical industry.
