The need :

I was working on a global saving project mainly on the robotics cleaners sub-components.

The aim was to find new suppliers for the waterproof connectors & the pump and traction motors commodities.

Additionally to the main mission, I had the opportunity to work on a cost avoidance project, to mitigate the scrape amount implied by some overstock.

The main missions of the role are: Ensure supplier onboarding for the innovative parts or material Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFI based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers. Follow direct performance during the innovation phase: New suppliers onboarding, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the innovation program phase, respect delivery deadlines for prototype parts and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of the Faurecia Innovation Program Management System (IPMS) Ensure early involvement of the panel suppliers in the Innovation program before the program phase Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers Negotiate with internal stakeholders to have cost savings approach such design to cost... Negotiate with external stakeholders to secure the contract management / GPCs & mitigate the associated risk.

The main missions of the role are: Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manage supplier tenders based on the panel provided by the commodity buyers. Negotiate or participate with the commodity buyer in negotiations with suppliers and in the final choice of the supplier (manages the sourcing committee process to select suppliers from the list provided by the commodity buyers) Follow direct performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs to objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of Faurecia's Program Management System (PMS) Ensure early involvement of Serial Buyers in the program before the serial phase Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers Negotiate technical modification requests
