- En soloApprentice PhotographerCULTUREApril 2026 - Today (4 months)Paris, FranceMy portfolios (work in progress), updated almost daily, with my mission statements, as well as my first visual storytelling series "The Dark City".For twenty years, I have been a freelance journalist in arts and culture, as well as the founder of a cinema news website. I have covered many topics on the photographic medium and met many emerging and iconic photographers.I finally decided to get behind the lens to offer my perspective, as a perfect complement to my life. I enjoy exploring black and white, architecture and design, exhibitions, art events and fairs, streets, views and landscapes, gardens, parks, and squares.
- Double Ligne ÉditionsAuthorPUBLISHINGMarch 2026 - Today (5 months)Paris, FranceAuthor of a first book (an essay) "Jim Morrison, the impenetrable ways", to be published by Double Ligne in autumn 2026.Book DescriptionJim Morrison was a clairvoyant and attentive observer of the world. A deeply intelligent being, full of humor and sensitivity, in search of truth and meaning. From his teens, he was already that special boy who devoured Nietzsche, Rimbaud, Kerouac, and Blake, filled his notebooks with poems, and loved to travel by hitchhiking. In the fervor of the sixties, he continued to lead the bohemian life he had chosen. The essay-style narrative explores his work and personality through his vision of itinerancy that spans his twenty-seven years of existence. An angle that has ultimately been little explored in depth. The rock star dressed in black leather fades away, giving way to the writer and traveling poet. From sprawling Los Angeles to intellectual Paris, Jim opened multiple paths, where encounters, adventure, the road, hitchhiking, the city, and America punctuate his incandescent work.Poems, texts, and fragments of interviews, anecdotes, excerpts from Doors songs, and recording sessions punctuate his physical and spiritual journeys. The films HWY and Feast of Friends, as well as his Shelby 500GT, are of course part of this existential road trip with this rootless traveler whom we never cease to want to explore.
