Nadin Heinke

Looking for an experienced motion designer? I create moving images in all their facets, combining technically sound editing, beautiful color grading, tailor-made motion graphics, and expressive design into high-quality videos for brands and messages. I distill complex content to its essence and develop static and moving images for digital screens and platforms – from social media and DOOH to TV and film.

With 4.5 years of professional experience in animation and post-production, and over 10 years in graphic design, I have implemented a wide range of projects as a freelancer: editing high-reach social media content, designing explainer videos, and producing visualizers. I particularly enjoy working with animated text, photo collages, mixed media, and collage and cut-out animations. Videos with composite, surreal imagery are also among my favorite playgrounds.

I am from Berlin, have been self-employed for three years, and have been creative my whole life. After a Master's degree in Educational Science at Humboldt University of Berlin, a year in sunny Melbourne, and two years of professional experience in the creative industry in sales, I consciously decided to pursue a new career as a designer – because it gives me purpose and joy. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Film and Motion Design (grade 1.1) in the summer of 2020, and went freelance a year later.

I enjoy learning new things, find inspiration in art, travel, and everyday life, and enthusiastically solve design problems. As a cinema lover, yogi, and someone with a heart for the environment, animals, and science, I bring diverse interests that flow into my work. I prefer to work as part of a creative team on campaigns, marketing videos, and film productions – in service of good stories, people, and music.
