I am a reliable proofreader and copy editor with 8+ years of varied experience. I have increasingly specialised in academic and ESL proofreading, an area I find immensely fulfilling; however, I have edited everything from thesis proposals and ebooks to corporate correspondence, reports, and training manuals.

During my undergraduate degree, I regularly proofread acquaintances' assignments and acted as a subeditor for the university newspaper. After graduating from my BA in 2016, I began working as a freelance proofreader for Editor World and have since developed a robust portfolio of diverse work. In 2020 and 2021, I began working for an independent agent and Minhand Education Group, respectively; both roles involve providing proofreading and copy editing services for ESL students. In addition to scientific research papers and academic essays, I edit clients' university applications, personal statements, and research proposals. From January 2022 until April 2023, I worked as an academic proofreader for Bioedit, specifically proofreading research articles to prepare them for submission to scientific journals. More recently, I worked as part of the proofreading team at WJEC, a prominent UK exam board; this role involved proofreading exam papers and other assessment materials at several stages of the editing process.

I gain a profound sense of satisfaction from helping my clients to present their work in the best way possible and contributing, however slightly, to valuable work. I am adept at coordinating and prioritising various tasks to meet deadlines without fail. I have also developed immaculate attention to detail and a courteous approach to customer service.
