Thales have been awarded the contract to supply advanced CBTC signaling system to Hong Kong's DUAT seven metro lines. As part of the safety team dedicated to the project, I support the safety system and software activities as following:

- Improvement of the process for Safety review of the test procedures (including test objectives, scenarios, and cases) for system, sub-systems and software level.

- Review of the test procedures against the safety system, sub-systems and software requirements, previously identified as ''Safety Critical'' or ''Safety related'' (SIL 2 to SIL4).

- SIL assessment verification based on higher-level requirements.

Positive Train Control (PTC) is a U.S. Government regulated initiative for railroads to mitigate potentially catastrophic events caused by human error. As a risk management specialist attached to the safety team of the company, my main duties include the following: • Development Part:

- Definition of an acceptable/unacceptable risk envelope

- Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) on a sub-system in charge of the trains logistic management

- Identification and tagging of new Safety requirements

- Hazard Log Review

• Operational Part:

- Identification and assessment of operational issues that could potentially lead to a hazard

- Analysis and investigation of issues identify as undesirable •

- Recommendation to prevent or mitigate unacceptable risks

- Weekly meeting with supplier in order to identify and mitigate the open defects

TM4 develop electric vehicle motors and related power systems. As of 2018, thousands of electric and hybrid vehicles were equipped with TM4 systems. As an external consultant, I was mandated to implement a methodology over the entire safety development cycle. Otherwise, I was in charge of:

- Modeling external and internal functions

- Realization of a Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) based on Safety Goals

- Modeling a Functional Tree Analysis (FTA)

- Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) based on Safety Goals

- Functional Safety Concept (FSC)
