The palletizer experienced recurring failures on several subsystems, jeopardizing production rates and customer deliveries. The objective: identify critical failure modes, prioritize actions, and implement an adapted maintenance plan.

    🔬 FMEA Approach — Step by Step:

    1. Functional decomposition of the palletizer
    → Listing of all subsystems and components (conveyors, grippers, cylinders, gearmotors, control system)
    → Identification of each component's function in the palletizing cycle

    2. Root cause identification
    → 5 Whys analysis for critical RPN failures
    → Ishikawa diagram (5M) to map causes (Material, Method, Manpower, Machine, Milieu/Environment)
