In collaboration with ALCATEL-LUCENT Madrid, design and development of the Fault Management component of the new convergence platform.
The work consists of analyzing customer needs for the migration from the old to the new platform, the design of migration and adaptation tools as well as the development of these tools.
The work also consists of participating in the implementation of new functionalities of the new FM component.
The technologies used are:

Project: ALMAP (ALcatel MAnagement Platform)

Task: Coordination, Design and Development of the Q3Pack (CMIS stack on socket developed in JAVA).
It is a manager-side stack to enable communication between the network management system and the NEs (Network elements) or agents using the CMIP protocol.
The development consisted of the design and implementation of the GDMO MIB parser to generate the code used on the manager side.

Task: Coordination, Design and Development of the EMP (Element Management Platform) of ALMAP.
It is the central component of the ALCATEL network supervision architecture of ALMAP, it supervises the network equipment and integrates with other components to manage alarms, topology and logs, it manages several network protocols for supervision: SNMP, TL1, Q3, …
This product is entirely developed in JAVA for the server and the GUI and uses XML and JAVAWS technologies for the configuration and deployment of thin clients.
Task: Development of the FM (Fault Management) component of the ALMAP platform:
X733 alarm management, component responsible for receiving and processing alarms coming from the supervised network. Server in C++ and client (GUI) in java (JAVAWS).
