Mohamed El Karymy

Nuclear professional since 2009, I have developed solid expertise in the fields of radiation protection, safety, security, and maintenance in sensitive industrial environments.

I began my career as a radiation protection technician on various nuclear unit shutdowns, before moving on to radiation protection site manager roles in 2015 and then radiation protection department manager in 2019.

Since 2020, I have also been delivering training in nuclear safety, conventional security, and radiation protection, with an approach based on field experience and the sector's operational requirements.

From 2022, I worked as a nuclear consultant on coordination, activity management, and operational monitoring missions, notably as a SPR project manager and then Contract Manager for reactor vessel maintenance activities.

Since January 2025, I have been working independently as a nuclear consultant and trainer, supporting industry players on issues of radiation protection, safety, field supervision, contractual management, and training.
