Mohamed Boulanouar

Mohamed is an IT security engineer with 8 years of experience in offensive and defensive teams. From a young age, he has been very passionate about ethical hacking and information technologies in general. At the beginning of his career, he worked as an IT security engineer in a major Algerian energy company where he learned to secure SCADA industrial systems, monitor the network via a SIEM solution, and respond to incidents. He then improved his skills by working as a pentester for a renowned French service provider where he carried out numerous penetration tests and Red Teaming activities across various technologies. He then worked as a freelance cybersecurity consultant for over 4 years, where he had the opportunity to work in different sectors such as industry, service companies, jewelry and luxury brands, construction and buildings, and the military industry between France and Switzerland, to perform penetration tests on embedded systems, web security analysis, incident response, and forensics. In June 2021, he founded his own IT security company. Mohamed is a member of various White Hat communities like Root-Me and Hack The Box, where he can enhance his skills and obtain IT security certifications.
