Mizuki Kakei

5 years of experience as a Product Data Analyst, combined with a background in Physics and over 12 years of international experience. I bring strong mathematical and analytical skills, and I’m passionate about coding and uncovering meaningful insights from data.

I studied physics at the University of Leipzig for my bachelor's degree. While studying there, analyzing data fascinated me especially, leading me to develop my skills further. I gained practical experience working with actual data and business cases, using R and SQL databases through a traineeship at Ubiqum Code Academy.

After completing the traineeship, I joined Delivery Hero. Over the four years at Delivery Hero, I have supported various teams within the company as a product analyst globally for more than 48 countries. I then transitioned to Overleaf, where I worked with the core function team to enhance product performance.

In both roles, my work typically focused on five key areas:

1, Data Tracking: Designing tracking concepts and implementing them using Google Tag Manager.

2, Data Visualization: Building dashboards using Google Data Studio and SQL, with automated data pipelines utilizing Git, dbt, and Airflow.

3, Exploratory Analysis & Reporting: Conducting data extraction and analysis using SQL and presenting insights via Google Slides.

4, Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to align on business goals and data needs.

5, A/B Testing: Designing and executing A/B tests, including sample size estimation, strategy development, and results analysis using SQL, Python scripts, and A/B testing tools.
