Miguel Zaragoza Serrano

I am Miguel Zaragoza, a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Senior Android Developer with over four years of experience in the native Android ecosystem.

My journey in mobile development began with hybrid technologies like React Native, where I built my first applications. However, the foundation in Java acquired during my degree and my affinity for native development led me to specialize in Android, where I have found my true professional path.

Over these years, I have specialized in Kotlin and in developing modern interfaces with Jetpack Compose, leading migrations from XML to Compose, designing error systems, and robust architectures under MVVM and MVI patterns. I have also worked with Koin, Coroutines, Retrofit, and Firebase, among other technologies in the Android stack.

I am currently part of the Android team at Abanca through Plexus Tech, where I contribute to the development and modernization of the banking application, with a special focus on user experience, architecture, and code quality. In parallel, I have developed projects independently, such as the mobile application for the Planet Padel Indoor padel club.

I am a proactive individual, committed to continuous improvement, and with a genuine interest in AI tools applied to software development. I integrate Cursor and Gemini into my daily workflow for complex refactorings, advanced debugging, and automation of repetitive tasks.
