Android Development
Having started in the world of programming by learning Java and following a rapid orientation towards Android development, I had the opportunity to work on several applications with very different characteristics: Video games, Online payment solutions, Corporate well-being, Health... Video games were independent projects that I carried out alone or by managing a small team, and the other applications were for startups, some of which are now present internationally (PayPlug, Workwell).
Web Development
For a few years now, I have been increasingly interested in the world of Web development. I constantly monitor technology trends on Twitter to stay up-to-date with best practices and essential tools (especially for SEO), as well as to keep an eye on emerging technologies and methods (SSG, JAMStack, Headless CMS) and the evolution of standards surrounding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
On the front-end side, I have had the opportunity to use Polymer 1 & 2 as well as Stencil.js / Ionic, whether in private or professional projects.
I also have experience in back-end development (JavaScript, PHP), which allows me to develop a web application from A to Z autonomously, but also to take care of hosting it – whether with a "classic" host like OVH or via a "serverless" solution like ZEIT Now.
UX / DX
Whatever the project I am working on, I strive to keep in mind this important idea: meeting the need. Therefore, I do not habitually add superfluous features or tools that could degrade the user experience or make code maintenance more complicated. This approach to each project helps me develop pleasant and intuitive applications, both for users and for other developers.
