Originally Dutch, I studied Travel & Tourism Management in Miami (USA). Travel and work then took me to London, then the southwest of France where I finally settled down.
Very often, a translation cannot be done literally, because the text risks losing all its meaning. So I don't just translate words that put together form a sentence... To be faithful to the author and the meaning of his text, I transpose it as naturally as possible into the target language.
I am perfectly trilingual and curious by nature! I like to keep up to date with current events and I don't hesitate to do research and document myself so that my translations are as faithful as possible.
