About Michel

Highly experienced electronics engineer (> 30 years of experience as a freelancer). ✔ Embedded hardware and software development. ✔ Expert in microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, ESP32) and single-board computers (Raspberry Pi). ✔ Radio specialist (LoRaWAN, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wifi) and fieldbus (CAN, RS485, Ethernet, Modbus).

What sets me apart 👉 I handle the complete development of yourIoT "End to End"application, namely:

➤ Selection of the best system architecture based on your requirements and constraints
➤ Design of the connected object: schematic creation, routing, integration
➤ Design of the communication gateway to the Cloud
➤ Prototype delivery
➤ Writing the "End to End" application
➤ Deployment management
➤ Testing and commissioning
➤ Creation of industrialization file
➤ Technical support and training

Whether your goal is to create a POC (Proof Of Concept) demonstrator or develop a complete product, I will offer you a "tailor-made" solution based on proven and mastered solutions.

Thanks to my multiple skills (electronics, radio, and Linux software), I will be your single point of contact for your connected object application challenges. By reducing the number of intermediaries, you will gain reactivity and reduce development costs.

Even if the scope of your project is still vague, contact me now. We will clarify the key points of your product and thus clarify your vision.

    Food Waste Weighing System
    PUBLIC SECTOR
    October 2023 - Today (2 years and 10 months)
    Grenoble, France
The project's objective is to develop a complete "End to End" solution for **weighing waste in schools**. This new technology is currently being integrated into my client's catalog.

This application will allow school cafeteria managers to automatically obtain, day by day, the quantity of food wasted in all the cafeterias under their responsibility. They will be able to generate tables that they can integrate into their statistics and reports.

I was entrusted with defining the architecture and then developing the entire solution.

The system consists of the following 3 main components:

Data Acquisition: Development of a dedicated electronic board capable of managing 3 scales simultaneously. Data transmission by radio to a gateway (Zigbee technology).

Data Recording and Cloud Transmission: Development of a gateway based on a Raspberry Pi4 implementing GPRS, Wifi, and Zigbee links. Implementation of a user interface for local configuration and administration.

Cloud Server and API: Definition of a secure API for accessing Cloud data for WEB developers and development of a graphical application allowing end-client managers to download data in CSV format.

The application is currently being deployed on pilot sites.

Current Generator for Electrolyzer (135 Kw)
    ENERGY AND UTILITIES
    August 2024 - Today (2 years)
    Nice, France
This new current generator for electrolyzers, with a unit power of 135 Kw, will be integrated into parks with a total power exceeding one hundred megawatts.

The hydrogen produced by these electrolyzers will be used as a "green" energy source.

The client entrusted me with the task of developing the firmware for this equipment "from scratch".

    • Interleaved PWM generation on 3 phases
    • Fast analog acquisition
    • Ethernet interface
    • Serial link
    • I2c bus
