I'm Michele Lepri, a freelance software developer based in Perugia, Italy, with over twenty years of hands-on experience building web and desktop applications. I hold a degree in Computer Science from the University of Perugia — graduated with honors — and I've been working independently since 2011, collaborating with major clients such as ENI, Philip Morris Italia, BSP Pharmaceuticals, and JNJ Italia.

My core stack revolves around the .NET ecosystem — from the early Framework days all the way to .NET Core 10 — along with C#, Angular, Entity Framework, and databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. I've worked across a wide range of domains: cloud migrations to Azure, industrial automation for the tobacco and pharmaceutical sectors, computer vision systems, financial market algorithms, and billing management platforms.

What truly drives me is the craft itself. I care deeply about clean architecture, design patterns, loosely coupled components, and solid testing practices. Writing good code isn't just a job requirement for me — it's a genuine passion.

In recent years, I've embraced AI agents as a core part of my development workflow. I actively use LLM-based tools — including Copilot with Anthropic models, ChatGPT, and local models via Ollama — not as a shortcut, but as a professional multiplier. They help me think through complex problems faster, generate and review code more efficiently, and deliver higher-quality results to my clients. I've also integrated LLMs directly into client applications for content generation, data analysis, reporting, and quality control.
