I deploy Linux servers since the time when you had to pass a stack of floppy disks through a toaster (SLS, 1994)

In love with Ruby (I worked with Padrino, Sinatra, Volt.rb and contributed to Ramaze), I can also work with Perl, Shell, Python, and produce patches in C/C++, PHP, ...

Some important network deployments have allowed me to forge in-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, IOS (Cisco's) on interesting topologies (OSPF, IPsec, DMVPN, ...), and the iptables/iproute2 pair.

I have worked in depth with various HTTP servers (squid, apache, nginx, haproxy), sometimes in cluster/high availability mode and on physical machines or instances. I also love working on Cyrus/IMAP, mysql/percona/mariadb and I have good vibes with Postfix.

An early contributor to Ansible, I have produced a hundred roles and playbooks since then, as well as a quite popular tutorial on the subject.

But my current focus is on Docker and the entire ecosystem that revolves around it (Rancher, Kubernetes), on web stack architecture, microservices, and metrology.
