- Portfolio analysis and migration roadmap: Delivered what an earlier attempt in early 2025 had failed to achieve: fully analysed and risk-classified around 360 HCL Notes databases, including previously unrecorded peripheral topics, and assigned them to five target platforms (workflow engine, MS Teams, SharePoint, ITSM, custom solutions) - accepted by management as the decision basis.
- Target architecture and modernisation concept: Developed the architecture strategy to consolidate more than 50% of applications into a central workflow engine and defined requirements to reduce ongoing service costs in the long term (external hosting and support).
- Programme governance and setup: Established roadmap, backlog and stakeholder structures as well as central project documentation for the bank-wide Notes replacement programme.

- Transformation & team leadership: Took responsibility for a central transformation as part of a core banking migration and data centre merger under regulatory pressure, leading an interdisciplinary team of 12 people (development, testing, requirements engineering) across several parallel business-critical topics.
- Document migration from S3 to Accenture DMS: End-to-end responsibility for the migration of 12 million documents including KBX metadata without data loss; export, metadata extraction and mapping were almost fully automated, with development and test teams coordinated via Azure DevOps.
- Protection Workflow Engine: Designed and led delivery of a fully automated microservice for credit insurance with 14 workflows, bidirectional REST integration with an external insurance partner and the internal ESB, including a web tool for operations staff.
- CBS data mapping and matching: Mapped customer, account and blocking data between heterogeneous core banking models (Accenture vs. ING Orange Lion), resolved structural model differences (e.g. 3 vs. 15 salutation codes) and validated data integrity.
- PSD2 migration: Replaced an internal payment service with a third-party provider; managed API governance, created technical blueprints and led end-to-end testing.
- Mail parser (Intelligent Data Processing): Designed a mail parser with fuzzy-logic extraction for automated data transfer via middleware and reduction of manual processing steps.
- Customer letter dispatch via ESB: Designed a central web tool for bank-wide document dispatch via the Digital Backbone, built to support all future letter categories.
- Tiger Team (critical delivery): Led an expert task force to resolve highly complex implementation blockers in the core banking system under time pressure; among other topics, took over the correction of automated workflow processing and short-term adjustments to regulatory reports (LCR) that other teams could not complete due to lack of know-how.
