Michael Höfelmeier

I, Dr. Michael Höfelmeier, am an expert in price psychology (B2C & B2B), Managing Director of Pluris Consulting, Project Manager and Trainer at Milz & Comp. GmbH.

Even during my doctorate, I intensively dealt with the effects and impacts of limited rational behavior (today: behavioral economics), including the psychology of numbers and prices, and with bidding behavior at auctions. Before founding Pluris Consulting in 2001, I gained experience at a leading top management consultancy in Düsseldorf in the areas of process optimization, strategy development, and reduction of material costs.

Pluris Consulting has many years of experience in pricing optimization in retail and in the B2B sector. Based on scientific findings and, above all, diverse practical experience, additional revenues are generated through optimized prices. Through consumer or customer insights such as purchasing psychological price thresholds and other innovative pricing insights, gut feeling is replaced by knowledge with a tangible impact on results.
