The Challenge & Solution: I translated a physical manufacturing process (ring forming) into a digital ecosystem. I built a dedicated low-code application in Appsmith that bridged the gap between machine operators on the factory floor and production management.
Data Architecture: Integrated the app with two databases to ensure data integrity. Connected in read-only mode to the machine's MSSQL database to retrieve hardware logs and Roll IDs, while using PostgreSQL as the operational database for saving parameters and shift reports.
UX/UI & Role Management: Designed a simplified, error-proof interface for operators to register production and confirm rolls. Simultaneously, I built a comprehensive Dashboard for Managers to monitor global KPIs and optimize the technological process.
