I have over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, designing for important textile companies.

I started working as a childrenswear designer at Ginkana in Bilbao. Then I moved to Madrid, expanding my experience in various companies such as Amichi, El Corte Inglés, and TENDAM (Grupo

Cortefiel).

My responsibilities have included trend and color research, preparation of mood boards and panels, production trips to India, China, Turkey, and Bangladesh and Pakistan, as well as shopping trips and fashion fairs (Paris, London), creation of technical sheets, production monitoring, fitting reviews with the pattern making technical team, selection of looks for lookbooks and shop windows, presentations to executives, and many more functions that I could mention in case of an interview.

Currently, I work as a freelance designer for women's sector clients.

Furthermore, I can proudly say that I have my own brand called MER Collection. An ethical and sustainable brand that I founded in 2019 with the intention of contributing a grain of sand to a more sustainable world.
