Mendel Heit

I am a French-German industrial designer from Berlin who loves craftsmanship, additive manufacturing, 3D graphics, and creations with human value.

After working as an employed and freelance designer in industries such as furniture, product design, architecture, and branding, I founded my own design studio focusing on furniture, products, jewelry, accessories, and research projects. A particular interest lies in combining new manufacturing technologies with traditional craftsmanship on a human scale.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience as a freelance 3D generalist, bringing together visualization, 3D printing, CAD modeling, animation, and physical manufacturing. Whether it's retail activations, showrooms, exhibition design, furniture, eyewear, or decorative porcelain collections – I find great joy in developing things from the initial sketch to the finished product.

For me, it's the human stories that make objects or spaces interesting and valuable – for example, through craftsmanship. My passion for technology and new manufacturing methods constantly leads me to new computer-generated forms and innovative production processes. However, sometimes the right solution lies in less technology than one might expect – it's about finding the right balance.
