Skills developed as an intern nursery assistant:

• Prepare and give a meal, a drink to the child.

• Proceed with the child's hygiene and care.

• Provide the child with comfort and reassurance (rocking, comfort blanket, ...)

• Accompany the child in learning daily life skills and rules for group living.

• Lead recreational activities or help the child with awakening and learning activities. Acquired knowledge: Cleaning products, characteristics of cleaning products, hygiene and cleanliness rules.

Skills developed as an intern facilitator and trainer at EPE: -Accompany people who have very little or poor command of the French language. -Welcome foreigners. -Sense of pedagogy and social skills. -Open-mindedness Acquired knowledge: Techniques for teaching the language to foreigners, active listening techniques, and interpersonal skills.

Skills developed as an intern home help:

• Accompany the person in daily life activities.

• Provide the person with comfort (raising/adjusting the chair, bed, ...), reassurance, and check medical assistance elements, ... Acquired knowledge: Listening and interpersonal skills, active listening techniques, equipment handling (medical bed, patient lift, ...)
