Mel Thiriet

My passion for photography was born following trips to Latin America. The incredible landscapes and lights found there were triggers for me. It is therefore quite naturally that I specialized in landscape photography.

Passionate about wide open spaces, I do not hesitate to venture into the unknown to constantly push my limits and fuel my creativity.

My photographic creations are based on reflection through collections. Research and experimentation play an important role in my way of working, thus I explore different themes. This approach has notably led me to diversify my style and to practice wildlife photography and documentary filmmaking.

Today, I am an author-director of documentary and scientific films, an event camera operator, and I have my own color grading studio.
