Accompanying people with disabilities

The workshop instructor supervises workers with disabilities (mental, psychiatric, autistic, intellectual disability) within an Adapted Work Company (ETA) or ESAT. It is a hybrid technical + social role: managing production while supporting the professional integration and development of individuals.

MAIN MISSIONS (3 balanced pillars)

1️⃣ PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT & SAFETY

• Manage production in terms of deadlines, quality, and quantity

• Be responsible for the safety of people and property

• Control the proper functioning of equipment and maintenance

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and working condition rules

• Ensure continuity in the absence of the main instructor

• Prepare quotes, participate in invoicing and commercial relations

2️⃣ PROFESSIONAL TRAINING & SKILL DEVELOPMENT

• Provide professional training adapted to each worker

• Evaluate professional skills and identify training needs

• Build personalized learning plans

• Adapt workstations and propose tools to facilitate access to work

• Support RAE (Recognition of Acquired Experience) and VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) procedures

• Prepare for integration into Ordinary Work Environments

3️⃣ INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT & SOCIALIZATION

• Provide individualized support for each person

• Be the referent for the team's personalized projects

• Manage interpersonal relationships, social codes, and mutual respect

• Continuous social and psychological monitoring (well-being, integrity)

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings (medical-social team)

• Report complex or abusive situations
