Mehmet Mühür

After my university studies in process engineering and chemistry, I began my career at 3M Deutschland GmbH in Hilden and then worked for over 20 years in various globally oriented management positions at Ford-Werke.

I was active in both operational and staff departments of the company in the areas of production planning, logistics, purchasing, vehicle ramp-up, and technical change coordination. Since 2006, I have been working as a consultant/trainer in the field of Lean Management and Operational Excellence.

I have been working as a freelance consultant since April 2018 and am currently working on an "Operational Excellence Project" for Deutsche Bahn AG, which will run until the end of October 20.

I bring many years of theoretical and practical experience in "Lean Manufacturing" and worked for 2 years on a plant restructuring project, serving as a member of the steering committee (Management & Works Council), which reorganized the entire plant organizational structure from a hierarchical to a lean manufacturing structure. The plant was later awarded "Factory of the Year 2001".

In addition, I bring many years of experience in project management and have worked closely with many departments such as purchasing, manufacturing, development, and logistics.

Through my many years of activity in globally, strategically, and operationally oriented functions, I bring a holistic mindset that meets the needs of today and also makes me an "all-rounder".
