I build Python backend systems for environments that blend software and industry: data pipelines, asynchronous messaging, real-time monitoring.
Over 12 years, I've worked on diverse projects: streaming pipelines (Apache Kafka), asynchronous messaging (ZeroMQ, AsyncIO), SCADA/MES interfaces, and embedded test platforms. My last two assignments: a nanosatellite component validation system at CEA, and a SCADA/MES platform for real-time monitoring and vibration analysis deployed with several industrial clients.
What sets me apart: I'm comfortable across a broad spectrum. I can build a FastAPI API, connect an OPC or Kafka source, set up a visualization dashboard, containerize it all with Docker, and implement a CI/CD pipeline — without being dictated the stack beforehand. I grew up in industry, I stay current with research, and I always start with the problem to choose the tool, not the other way around. If something is missing from my skillset, I learn it.
I take on backend missions — APIs, data pipelines, industrial integration, real-time systems — primarily in Python, with an appetite for Rust on projects where it makes sense. Remote or in Lyon and Grenoble.
