• Leading a critical Proof of Concept (POC) for the upgrade of the Financial ERP (FSCM), aiming to validate the technical roadmap, secure a major application migration, and provide performance solutions for batch jobs and transactional screens during the upgrade process.

Achievements and Impact

Oracle

• Upgrade and optimization of the 19c instance parameters on OCI.

• Optimization of batch and transactional processing queries and psqueries.

• Improvement of statistics calculation, indexing, and database structures (partitioning and sub-partitioning).

• Execution and validation of Oracle/PeopleSoft upgrade technical passes (Initial Pass, Move to Prod), optimizing the Oracle database data conversion process and the queries used in the upgrade process (mass update, parallelism, partitioning, statistics adaptation).

PeopleSoft

• Definition of the upgrade strategy and analysis of infrastructure dependency and compatibility.

• Installation and fine-tuning configuration of all ecosystem components (PUM, Change Assistant, webserver..).

• Provision of expert technical support (L3/L4) to project teams on issues and potential solutions for project success.

Achievements and Impacts

• Analysis and optimization of Oracle performance on critical environments of the Les Mousquetaires group's accounting system (5TB and 1500 users with high transactional load), with an approach focused on diagnostics and daily monitoring of production batch and transactional performance.

• Support for functional projects of simplification and legal entity mergers requiring in-depth analysis and improvements of batch jobs and transactional screens in terms of performance.

• Technical support for third-party security projects, which helped secure payments.

• Systematic audit of architectures (load, structure, volume) to identify areas for improvement and challenge existing practices, proposing data archiving solutions.

• Leadership, management, and training of the operations team (PeopleSoft, Oracle, ETL), ensuring service performance and availability.

• Implementation of automatic procedures for refreshing databases and PeopleSoft environments.

• Implementation of a quality indicator tool for the study and business teams to track environment availability, their allocation to different projects, and interface integrations.

• Successful successive upgrades of the ecosystem: PeopleTools 8.50 to 8.60 and FSCM 8.8 to 9.2.

• Migration of Oracle databases (10g, 11g, 19c) to Exadata, ensuring performance and scalability gains.

• Continuous coordination with Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure the integrity and overall performance of the platform.
