Scheduling Tennis matches is a significant part of a Grand Slam chief umpire's job. For Roland-Garros, it's a real puzzle that requires the umpire to make constant compromises.

It is precisely to save him time that the FFT's IT department decided to create a unique application in the world of tennis. Whereas the chief umpire previously had to identify all the parameters to consider for establishing his schedule himself, he can now rely on this application, which directly integrates certain factual data. And alerts him if necessary about choices that might not be the most appropriate. The algorithm even indicates the placements that meet the criteria taken into account in a schedule.

It is in this context that I was chosen by the FFT as Tech Lead to coach and support the development team in the creation of this application and to ensure adherence to Software Craftsmanship by implementing best practices and quality code.
