Max Öttl

I am an aspiring M.Sc. in the specializations of Product Development & Reliability Engineering with approx. 3 years of experience through my dual study program in Mechanical Engineering at Bosch. I have also gained experience in the fields of Data Science and Python development – including with autoencoders for anomaly detection in mechatronic systems – in various projects.

My expertise lies at the intersection of Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, and Technical Reliability – specifically in the automotive context. I have already developed fast, clean prototypes for ML-based condition monitoring and am happy to support with Proof-of-Concepts, data preparation, and analysis pipelines in Python.

I am open to new subject areas and look forward to projects outside my previous focus areas – whether short-term or as a long-term collaboration.
