As part of a mission for Adeo / Leroy Merlin, I am working as a Go backend developer on an internal release engine that allows product teams to deploy their applications on Kubernetes autonomously and securely.

What I have achieved:

- Development of backend services in Go with the Huma/Chi framework, following a hexagonal architecture (domain / application / infrastructure / user interface)

- Design and implementation of a multi-tenant configuration system to manage deployment variations according to teams and environments

- Definition of the REST API versioning strategy (management of breaking changes, cohabitation of versions)

- Integration with tools from the cloud-native ecosystem: Kubernetes, Helm, Vault (HashiCorp), MongoDB

- Implementation of integration tests covering business entities (deployments, manifests, gates) and interactions with external dependencies

- Contribution to internal CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions

DevOps Engineer (01/01/2021 - Present, Retail Client)

As a DevOps Engineer, I have worked on various projects to optimize infrastructure and development processes. My responsibilities and achievements include:

🔹 Development of custom Terraform modules to automate the creation and management of Cloud infrastructures, thereby improving scalability and repeatability.

🔹 Design and development of a Platform As a Service (PaaS) enabling development teams to deploy and manage their applications autonomously and in a standardized manner.

🔹 Development of APIs and backend services in Python with FastAPI to create robust and high-performance solutions, integrating modern best practices.

🔹 Writing tests in Python to verify the functionality and performance of applications and infrastructures, ensuring high-quality code and an optimal user experience.

🔹 Implementation of Terraform Compliance tests to validate infrastructure configurations and ensure their compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

🔹 Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate the development, testing, and deployment process, reducing delivery times and minimizing human errors.

🔹 Writing Architecture Decision Records (ADR) to document important technical decisions and maintain the architectural consistency of projects.

🔹 Participation in projects organized according to Agile methodologies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure fast and efficient delivery of solutions.

Through these assignments, I have developed in-depth expertise in areas such as Terraform, Python, FastAPI, Shell, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. My experience in designing Platform As a Service and writing ADRs has allowed me to strengthen my software architecture skills.

🔹 DevOps Engineer at Adeo Services (01/01/2019 - 01/01/2021)

Within the Cloud Services team, I worked on various infrastructure and development projects. My responsibilities and achievements include:

🔹 Implementation and evolution of a Kubernetes offering on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), allowing clients to benefit from a modern, flexible, and scalable infrastructure.

🔹 Implementation of a GitOps tool (ArgoCD) to automate and simplify the application deployment process on Kubernetes clusters.

🔹 Configuration and deployment of a monitoring stack based on Prometheus and Grafana, to monitor and analyze application and infrastructure performance.

🔹 Design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, automating development, testing, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce delivery times.

🔹 Integration of a vulnerability scanner for Docker images, to enhance the security of deployed applications by identifying and correcting potential vulnerabilities.

🔹 Automation of GKE cluster creation, allowing teams to quickly have resources to deploy and manage their applications.

🔹 Development of APIs in Python to facilitate integration and communication between the company's services and applications.

🔹 Participation in projects organized according to Agile and Scrum methodologies, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure fast and efficient delivery of solutions.

During this experience at Adeo Services, I developed solid expertise in managing Kubernetes infrastructures on GCP, DevOps tools such as ArgoCD and GitLab CI, as well as application monitoring and security.
