Experience

  • OCaml Pro
    Product Designer
    TECH
    May 2020 - December 2020 (7 months)
    Paris, France
    Context:
OCamlPro is an R&D laboratory focused on the OCaml language. Arriving on the first day of lockdown, I was able to lead online discussions and unite the team around a communication renewal. I brought and promoted a product culture within a team primarily from academic backgrounds.

    Responsibilities:
    - Rebranding with a new graphic charter translated into different logos and illustrations
    - Structuring the support/communication team following the Kanban methodology
    - Facilitating collaborative workshops for team cohesion and future planning
    - Presentations and discussions on product design and user experience
    - Development of a WordPress site (design, writing, CSS sheet...)
    - Creation of Timelines.cc, a timeline generator, in partnership with a back-end developer (UX analysis, UI mockups, user testing, front-end development, as well as presentation deck)
    - UX design and front-end development of Dune Playground by Origin Labs

    Technical environment:
    - Graphic tools: Figma
    - Project management: Gitlab, Zulip
    - Framework: Wordpress
    - Languages: CSS, HTML, JSON
  • The Walking Nerds
    Content Owner
    TECH
    September 2020 - February 2021 (5 months)
    Paris, France
    Context:
The Walking Nerds is a digital creation and development studio. This short mission is a follow-up to the 2019 mission to create a training video game for Afpols. I was therefore recalled for the development of the second gamified training for Afpols, concerning Site Managers. The context is complex since the Product Owner and Lead Developer left abruptly while the redesign of the Learning Management System was already well underway.

    Responsibilities:
    - Supporting the new Product Owner and the new Lead Developer in taking over the project by transferring knowledge from the first mission.
    - Creating mockups for the Learning Management System redesign based on retrospectives conducted with Afpols trainers.
    - Integrating the 70 scenarios and 600 mini-games into the LMS developed under tight deadlines.

    Technical environment:
    - Task tracking via Kanban on Clickup
    - Mockup creation on Figma
    - Content integration on rete.js
  • The Walking Nerds
    Product Owner, then Content Owner
    VIDEO GAMES AND ANIMATION
    June 2019 - December 2019 (6 months)
    Paris, France
The freelance and web agency collective Walking Nerds hired me for their first training video game project as:
    - Product Owner (proxy): Using the Scrum method, mediating between dev/client, mockups, writing User Stories and specs, prioritization, then review with devs and client.
    - Content Owner: Integrating all scenarios/content into the WordPress database.
