Matthieu Ravet

After studying Applied Arts and visual communication, the young man embarked on graphic design. But the long hours creating behind a computer soon gave him ants in his pants. Matthieu is one of those who need to move. He then went to Paris to train in audiovisual techniques, which he also tried out in alternation in a studio, where his love for photography, without a darkroom, was revealed. A passion that he was able to nurture every day by assisting great photographers who taught him new techniques, refining his skills. He began to take his own photos in parallel.

A heterogeneous experience that allows him to have fun with the image. Independent for about ten years, Matthieu considers photography as a means of expression and commitment, as well as a tool for understanding. For him, it is an antidote against our torments, no less than a necessity for the balance of society.
