I took advantage of the 2020 lockdown to self-train and deepen my skills in composition, color grading (Color Grading / Colorimetry), lighting management, equipment, directing...
It's the field of color grading (Color Grading / Colorimetry) that captivated me the most. I subsequently had the opportunity to work and study with professional colorists to develop the scientific aspect of color and the mathematics behind every action we take on an image to achieve a clean color grade that respects the base material and the work of the technical team, as well as the Director of Photography.
The aspect I enjoy most about this profession is sharing the passion for imagery with the Director of Photography during color grading sessions in my studio. I am convinced that understanding the fundamentals of photography and mathematics is crucial to achieving the ideal look. (color space / Linear Light / Contrast Ratio etc)
I primarily work on music videos, short films, campaigns, and promotional films.
I have a small DaVinci Resolve Studio color grading station at my disposal (with a regularly and precisely calibrated Eizo monitor).
If your main obstacle is your budget or if you need technical advice, come talk to me, every project deserves a color grade worthy of the name.
I also want to mention that my rate is indicative and varies depending on the nature and budget of the project.
