Matthieu Dailly

A graduate of the Centre de Formation des Journalistes in Paris, I received the Eurac Research prize in 2010 for an investigation into supercomputers. After a brief stint with the teams at Clubic.com and Eurac.edu, I joined the electron microscopy program at San Joaquin Delta College. Today, I am committed to the preservation of heritage and the environment through multispectral imaging techniques.

With the advent of high-performance computing and machine learning, a new era is opening for scientific communication. As foreshadowed by the technical platforms of Aix-Marseille University, those of the National Museum of Natural History, or even the creation of the Interdisciplinary Center for Heritage Conservation and Restoration, multispectral imaging technologies are booming. In 2017, I had the honor of seeing some of my micrographs published by France Bio-Imaging. Today, after my involvement with the Aïoli annotation platform of the Mixed Research Unit 3495, I work primarily as a scientific mediator and professional civil drone pilot specializing in photogrammetry.
