In-house development of an international Consent Management Layer (CMP) as a White-Label Solution

As part of the project for a leading German email and cloud service provider and subsidiary of a major internet provider, the existing third-party CMP consent layer was replaced for several international brands with a custom-developed, multi-tenant white-label in-house solution. Based on modern web technologies, a performant, test-driven consent layer was implemented that meets all functional and legal requirements.

This included not only the implementation of code and automated tests but also the creation of technical documentation, brand-specific CMP configurations, custom CSS themes, and i18n structures. Additionally, logic for rollout and initialization, backend usage modules, CDN release processes, and project-relevant documentation were implemented to ensure sustainable, scalable, and easily maintainable operation of the consent solution within the company.
