Mathieu Singer

Former student of IUT in Networks & Telecommunications, then of the Professional Bachelor's Degree "Cyber Defense, Anti-Intrusion of Information Systems" and the Master's Degree "Expert in Digital Security".

My professional experience began with an apprenticeship for two and a half years internally at Capgemini as a Network & Security Administrator.

My tasks mainly involved deploying LAN networks (Wi-Fi, Switching, Firewalling).

After my apprenticeship, the desire to discover new horizons led me to travel in Europe:

- First in Germany, in Berlin, where for a year and a half I joined the staff of the marketing company Divimove GmbH (now renamed "We Are Era GmbH", belonging to RTL Group) as a Security Engineer in several areas:

- Security maturity assessment

- Device hardening (Windows Servers (Domain Controller, IIS), Linux (Debian), Windows 10)

- Deployment and interconnection of LAN networks (Wi-Fi, Switching, Firewalling)

- Setup and deployment of a client VPN

- Setup of a SIEM

- Setup of a Vulnerability Scanner

- Setup of an EDR

- Secondly in Switzerland, in Biel, as an Operations Security Engineer at SwatchGroup Services Ltd for one year.

This subsidiary of the prestigious watchmaking group Swatchgroup is in charge of shared IT services for all subsidiaries.

I was able to discover new products and deepen new skills by working on incidents/service requests on the following technologies:

- Email security (Gateways, Encryption)

- Reverse/Forward Proxies

- Datacenter & Internet Firewalls

- S2S VPN

- Antivirus (Client & Server)

- EDR

Today I have returned to the south of France and work as a network security engineer for Verizon.
