My main task**are security audits of WordPress websites.** I examine the security, find vulnerabilities, and fix them permanently.

With BASTORA, I have developed a very effective concept to sustainably and significantly increase the security of WordPress websites. The customer receives an audit report and certificate by mail afterwards.

An audit often brings insights, which is why my tasks also include:

*Modernization– An outdated WordPress website needs a refresh.

*Assistance– The agency that built the website is no longer available, and there is dissatisfaction. The website is online, but not finished. I tidy up and clean up.


As a certified web developer, I specialized in WordPress over 10 years ago. I am a nerd and tech-loving, but also human, making me the ideal translator between technical concerns and understandable communication with the client.

My strengths lie in simple, peer-to-peer communication, even with complex technical issues.

Solving problems related to WordPress, technical optimization, and especially security. As part of all these tasks, modernizations of websites and WordPress are sometimes desired. I then transform everything into the present day. The result is a relaunch and a website with technically ideal foundations and maximum security.

    In June 2026, I implemented an idea that has been in my head for about 10 years: a special security concept for WordPress.

    1. BASTORA Free
    A free security plugin for WordPress that performs an audit immediately after installation, then closes vulnerabilities, and finally continuously monitors WordPress.

    2. BASTORA Pro
    A paid audit that also covers areas that a simple plugin cannot reach. Inspected by a human and subsequently certified. The customer receives a test report and the certificate by mail.

    This overall concept is unique in Germany.

    As head of the department, my responsibilities included the internet watch, the intranet, editorial coordination, and other specialized applications.

    In addition to management, I was also continuously active in the Product Owner role, as the position could not be refilled. Working 30 hours a week, I covered two full-time positions of 40 hours each.

    I practically single-handedly coordinated security incidents, various specialized applications, service providers, budget, employees, etc. Everything came together.

    For €2,350 net per month, I sought a discussion and requested a correction in my area of responsibility or salary. Nothing happened, which is why I resigned in May 2024.

    The work provided me with a steep learning curve and solidified my expert status regarding web projects.

    I enjoy working, even working a lot. But performance and competence must be fairly compensated.
