Mathias Bourre

Mathias Bourre is a composer, sound designer, and sound engineer born in Paris of Austrian origin.

He trained in jazz at CIM (Centre d’Informations Musicales), studied musicology at Paris 8 University, and attended numerous masterclasses around the world.

Passionate about jazz and world music, Mathias performs in many concerts and constantly composes. Gradually, contemporary music and sound research were added to his influences and appeared in his work.

He composes for theater productions, recorded a solo piano classical music album (Piano Works, Alistair Brown), and worked as a technician for various musical and literary projects.

He works as a composer, sound designer, and sound engineer for numerous organizations (Le Panthéon, the Palace of Versailles, the National Library of France, the city of Vitré, the Museum of Man, Vinted...).
