Mission: Embedded Systems Engineer – Development of a secure STM32 / FIDO2 device

Project Goal: Development of the Locknest secure device, based on STM32, for strong authentication and secure credential management. The project involved integrating a certifiable FIDO2/CTAP2 solution into an embedded environment with very strong memory constraints, optimizing the software architecture and flash usage to enable the complete integration of security functions.

Mission: R&D Engineer – Development of a critical real-time autopilot (PX4-RT)

Project Goal: Optimization of the real-time behavior of PX4 RT in a safety-critical context. Porting to a multi-processor ARM Cortex A53 architecture.

Accomplishments:

• Deployment of PX4-RT firmware on Raspberry Pi with PREEMPT-RT patch

• WCET comparative study between standard Linux and PREEMPT-RT (single vs. multi-core)

• Real-time performance analysis with ftrace, cyclictest, and GNU Debugger

• Generation of VCD files and visualization with GTKWave

• Bash and Python scripts for HITL/SITL test automation.

• Cross-compilation and build automation with CMake

• Comparative study between Linux vs. PREEMPT-RT patch vs. Xenomai

Software: C, C++, Python, PX4-Autopilot, Gazebo, jMAVSim, QGroundControl, ftrace, cyclictest, GNU Debugger, GTKWave, CMake, Bash, Raspberry Pi, Real-time Linux (PREEMPT-RT, Xenomai)

• Writing and execution of unit, integration, and validation tests (C language)

• Use of LDRA Testbed (automatic test generation, coverage, traceability)

• Static code analysis and quality control with CodeSonar.

• Familiarity with industrial protocols (EtherCAT, CANopen) used for test benches or distributed systems.

• Compliance with critical standards (MISRA, DO-178C, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, SIL3)

• Application of V-model compliance principles, test evidence, rigorous documentation configuration.
