In my early youth, I taught myself programming out of curiosity, and the passion for it continues to this day. Programming has never felt like work to me, but rather like a hobby that I can pursue daily. I love to delve into new topics and, ideally, to oversee and help shape projects from the very beginning.

Over the years, I have come into contact with several programming languages (PHP, Java, Python, C++, ...), but TypeScript has clearly emerged as my favorite. The type safety yet flexible nature offers the perfect mix for me. Since TypeScript can be used in both the frontend and backend, you always benefit directly for both "ends".

In 2020, I first came into contact with Serverless (AWS) and have been enthusiastic about the speed with which a new application can be deployed ever since; so enthusiastic that I set up all my private projects in the AWS environment myself.

I prefer to work in agile teams that are results-driven. The whole team should pull together and want to achieve the common goal. I integrate well into teams where humor is not a foreign word and one can make the odd joke. Whether German or English is spoken here makes no difference to me.
