I (35 years old) am a passionate hardware and embedded software developer with 12 years of professional experience. My specialty is to turn your idea into a market-ready product while fulfilling all legal and normative requirements (CE, product safety, EMC). Whether consumer electronics or industrial devices, I have a broad wealth of experience in diverse areas and standards.
How does such a development process work?
It all starts with your idea. Then we evaluate together the scope of the first prototype development. Transparency in terms of costs and risks is particularly important to me. I collect your requirements, as well as external requirements from legal or normative specifications, and strive to find an optimal technical solution.
This is followed by schematic creation, PCB design, microcontroller programming, assembly, and measurements in my well-equipped laboratory. I can also support you mechanically with simple housing designs and my 3D printer.
If you are satisfied with the prototype, I will optimize the electronics for manufacturability and testability to ensure series production. With the next iteration stage, the electronics can then be checked according to the standards. I perform EMC pre-compliance measurements and optimize the circuit so that a final EMC test in an external laboratory has a good chance of success. After successfully passing all tests, the product can then be produced in series, and I will provide the necessary documentation.
I am a part-time sole proprietor, so I am only available remotely and part-time (Mon-Thu evenings, Fri mostly full-time).

It was my first project on Malt and my first project with Marvin. I really enjoyed working with him. The communication was fast, direct, open, and relaxed. We got along well and together realized a great first prototype. The hardware and software developed by Marvin met all requirements and fit perfectly into the newly developed housing. Additionally, he also ensured that our joint customer gained a better understanding of the responsibilities of electronic device manufacturers. To this end, he defined the next necessary steps for product development so that we could continue the project.
