Within the Design System team, my role was to improve and maintain the Figma libraries used by about thirty designers. The objective was to ensure component consistency, correct past errors, and optimize workflows to make work more efficient.

My main responsibilities:

• Structure and optimize Figma libraries to ensure smooth and standardized use.

• Implement a token system to automate graphic variations, limit errors, and facilitate maintenance.

• Precisely document each component to ensure better understanding and use of the design system by designers and developers.

• Support designers in adopting best practices and help them upskill on the tools.

• Modernize work processes by creating guides, tutorials, and presentations to improve the accessibility and efficiency of the design system.

• Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure smooth integration of the design system into projects.

As a lecturer for Master 1 students, I led a workshop dedicated to the design and documentation of a Design System. I introduced the fundamentals of modern design systems, including Atomic Design, variables, design tokens, and theming.

Through practical exercises, students structured a library based on atomic principles (atoms, molecules, organisms) to understand the logic of modularity and reusability. They then wrote the complete documentation for this Design System, including component usage, best practices, and consistency rules.

The workshop combined theory, methodology, and practical application.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and improve mockups to optimize user experience.

• Manage the design system for the mobile application, first as a designer, then as a referent.

• Complete redesign of the Figma library: automation of variations, implementation of tokens, and integration of a light/dark mode switch.

• Ensure graphic consistency and optimize work tools for designers and developers.

Thanks to these initiatives, the design system became more structured and automated, allowing teams to work more efficiently while ensuring visual consistency across the application.
