Background: Our team was responsible for issuing invoices and also clearing the billing delay for all the valuations (Fund Administration), Custodian (Custody), and LRA/LTA scopes.

› Participate in the study of the client's needs, the scope, and the implementation of end-to-end tests related to the transversal projects.

› Analyze needs and writes functional specifications

› follow up and assure the coordination of the project between contributors

› Formalize the deliverables and ensure proper execution

› Intervene in the different phases of the client's project

› Impact analysis of SWIFT messages to ensure client's business continuity

Background: The company SWIFT published a document called "SWIFT Release" which contains a set of changes in the standard messaging that financial institutions use to securely transmit information and instructions through a standardized system of codes. So we as a user of the SWIFT network, must identify in time the changes that occurred and proceed to the development needed to always guarantee connectivity with our clients.

The solution:

I managed the system of repository of SGSS's swift messages and I onboarded it to a new application called "standards". So we've been able to automate the identification of changes made by SWIFT.

That solution has had two implications:

First, it'll help the IT team to quickly make an impact assessment (risk assessment) on SGSS's CUSTODY Information System.

Second, The solution also aims to give unique access to both the IT and Business Team in order to better communicate.

There are some tasks performed:

› Analyze and write the As-Is and to-be's business process

› Analyze business needs and use a functional solution to address the issue

› Analyse the actual situation and realize the impacts on the CUSTODY Information System of SGSS

› Liaise with stakeholders and develop effective working relationships.

› Analyze all the SWIFT messages of Settlement, Order Investment Book, and Cash Scope

› Implementation of all our Swift messages (MT and MX format) from our UserGuide to a collaborative platform called "standards".

› Training of business and technical teams in the management of the Mystandards tool

› Ensures cross-functional coordination of business and technical teams

› Lead the change management by ensuring that all stakeholder involved understands the "whys", the "hows" and the purpose of the project. By doing that, I've been able to get them involved in the project because they have understood the requirement and how the project concerns them directly in their daily work.
