Marta Torre

martatorre.dev is my freelance project. Since 2012, I have evolved with my project where, as a freelance web developer, I develop web projects and apps. Since 2010, I have been developing websites and applications for freelancers and SMEs. Specializing in WordPress, I also develop projects in PrestaShop, PHP, Flutter, and other languages. I primarily do custom layouts for designers and custom theme and plugin development for WordPress. I am passionate about the front-end and value the work of the designers I collaborate with. I started developing with the idea of being able to change the world; I needed to know the 'why' behind things, how they worked, and how to change them. I am involved in several social projects where I help improve the world, even if it's just a small contribution. I develop projects with a focus on accessibility, sustainability, and privacy, keeping the user in mind.

Development of improvements in CakePHP for one of the Intranet projects in the materials science and engineering division laboratory.

Development and maintenance of functionalities in Laravel for the student discount platform. Implementation of improvements in both backend and frontend, performance optimization, and collaboration with the team to resolve bugs and propose new solutions. Remote work in an international environment.
