About Marie-Aure

I have been a freelance illustrator and graphic designer since 2007, specializing in the creation of custom illustrations, editorial visuals, and graphic content for authors, brands, and individuals.

Notably, I have created game pages and children's illustrations for Rik et Rok magazine (Auchan), and I also assist numerous private clients with their personalized illustration projects (portraits, character design, fantasy visuals, fictional covers, etc.).

As a member of the Lindae collective of illustrators, I co-created a fanzine and two black and white comic books self-published, exploring narrative illustration and world-building.

Today, I am working on several collective and personal projects, including children's books, fantasy illustrations, character design, as well as collaborative projects with 3D printers and other artists. I also explore different mediums (watercolor, digital painting, 3D, character design, backgrounds) to enrich my practice and offer increasingly accomplished work.

I make it a point of honor to create images that tell a story, with a strong identity, whether it's a fantasy world, an illustrated book, a brand visual, or a personal project to be realized.

Throughout the image design stages, Marie-Aure kept us informed, showing us sketches and allowing us to choose the direction for modifying the lines. The final result is even better than we imagined, and the desired "whimsical caricature" aspect is very present! As for deadlines, they were met and even exceeded expectations: we had planned for several months and received them in just 26 days! Thank you again!
