Maria Rishmawi

I have over 10 years of experience working as a translator and interpreter, in Arabic, Spanish, and English, with different organizations and institutions, translating publications, documents, and subtitling for television reports and simultaneous interpretation in different official institutions. Additionally, I am a researcher and legal analyst in the fields of international law and humanitarian law, such as asylum and migration law, and the fight against discrimination in all its forms, with a special focus on vulnerable groups. I work with various human rights consultants for different publications and work guides. In the last year, I have dedicated myself to legal and political research and analysis, working with Palestinian women imprisoned in Israeli jails, as security prisoners.
