I started at this company before finishing my degree. It was a company of 18,000 employees in a single geographical area. They were looking for someone from the university to participate in an HR project that required experimental modeling and the use of statistics, such as the correlation between the scores applicants got on tests and their subsequent performance.

At that company, I did my thesis, performed HR analyst functions, and continued to advance... I worked in HR, Labor Policy, and finally in Information Systems (1983), until the end of my tenure at the company (1998).

As part of the company's inter-institutional collaborations with government agencies, I worked on a Service Commission for the State Government, simplifying HR processes, and later Information Systems processes. Within these collaborations, I also advised on the start of a project for the Foundation for the development of the central-western region of the country, and I also carried out other collaborations such as the Prospecting of the Portuguese Basin.

I participated in Strategic ICT Planning at a time when the steel industry needed to transform. I was responsible for the Design of the Corporate Systems Organization; Head of the Pilot Training Project, using Client-Server technologies; I was responsible for the Material Inventory Systems, Labor, and Work Orders, which were in PL1, Cobol, and Easytrieve. I worked on-call to handle system incidents.

I provided training in IT tools and project management.

I collaborated in Operations Improvement, with the participation of technicians and workers.

I received company recognition for my contribution to the company's projection, as I participated in Rally and Theater, both financed by the company.

SopraSteria is a French company dedicated to Consulting; Technologies; Systems Integration; Software Development; Cybersecurity; Infrastructure Management. Let's say it has been a project of 21 years of constant learning, during which I have carried out many projects in Strategic ICT Consulting; Process Consulting; Digital Transformation Plans; Auditing; IT Project Management; ICT Program Management; Design of ICT Project Portfolios with business value criteria; Service Manager in Client Technical Offices, as well as various pre-sales activities for our services or by preparing Technical Specifications as part of the role I had in Public Administration Service Offices.

In these 21 years, I have worked in a variety of Companies and Sectors, including: ADIF, RTVE, ENDESA, BANK OF SPAIN, TELEFÓNICA, ONIF, A3 MEDIA, BANKIA, THALES, MARE, ASV, IFEMA, TELVENT, MINISTRY OF JUSTICE, HR FIDELITY, TRES CANTOS CITY COUNCIL, ANDALUSIAN REGIONAL GOVERNMENT, and others...

Over these years, I faced many challenges; however, the ICT of those years responded to a more predictive environment. TODAY, we are in a vulnerable, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment where companies must embrace Digital Transformation from Operational Excellence, and for this, they require talent from people and Lean and Agile methodologies for the transformation of their processes. The practices and tools that led us to success in the 20th century are no longer sufficient. Therefore, my training has been continuous and adapted to the market, including many soft skills in my knowledge portfolio such as: Management Skills for Organizational Development, Mindfulness and Emotional Management, Agile Coach, and other situational leadership techniques.
