“Who? Marianne? Oh yes, she loves reading and writing! But do you know many writer-butchers or reader-opticians?!” This family joke didn’t always make me laugh. But it subtly highlights the coherence of my academic and professional journey.

After studying at Sciences Po Paris, I studied on the Franco-German campus in Nancy and then archaeology at Humboldt University. Back in Paris, I pursued a Master of Research. Then, because reading and writing are indeed enjoyable and what I do best, I decided to prolong the pleasure. Thus began the adventure of a doctorate. Sherbrooke, Tartu, Belgrade, Athens, ..., Chicago: a journey that culminated with the defense of my thesis in political science. As a doctor, I could have remained in my ivory tower of academia. I preferred to engage with the private sector and explore new writing formats. New playgrounds.

Reading, writing. My uniqueness. My added value. From my research experience, I have indeed retained my spirit of analysis and synthesis. A precious asset when it comes to precisely identifying the common thread of a project or adhering to short formats. Editorial line, journalistic style, web writing codes: all challenges that I have mastered after joining a newsroom. My little extra? A sharp sense of pedagogy honed with several generations of students.

Writing about a specialized subject, giving a voice to your company, designing the script for a voice-over, creating your portrait, developing your training content, writing the scenario for your next film, assisting you in writing your novel, or lending you my pen for your biography: these are all missions that I will undertake if you agree to entrust them to me!

If you allow me to make my pen my profession and more if you like. Because, after all, who said that writer-cook doesn't exist?!
